The CirculYOUNG project is an innovative initiative focused on equipping migrant youth with the necessary skills to actively participate in and benefit from the circular economy. In a world increasingly recognizing the importance of sustainability, CirculYOUNG addresses the critical intersection of environmental responsibility and economic opportunity.
At its core, CirculYOUNG is about empowering young people, particularly those who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), to overcome barriers to social and economic integration. By providing specialized training in the circular economy and entrepreneurship, the project aims to transform potential into progress, enabling youth to become leaders and innovators in sustainable practices.
The project operates on the belief that every young person has the potential to contribute meaningfully to their community and the wider world. However, many face obstacles such as a lack of access to education, limited professional networks, and insufficient opportunities for personal and professional growth. CirculYOUNG seeks to bridge these gaps, offering a pathway to employment and entrepreneurship through targeted support and skill development.
Need for CirculYOUNG:
Economic Opportunities: With the global shift towards sustainability, there's a growing demand for skills related to the circular economy.
Bridging Skill Gaps: Migrant youth often lack access to relevant training that could help them integrate into the workforce.
Fostering Innovation: Encouraging entrepreneurial ventures in the circular economy can create new job opportunities and drive sustainable development.
