In Person Kick Off Meeting In Ireland

We are proud to officially launch the CirculYOUNG project in Roscommon, Ireland—an exciting initiative funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) that aims to equip young migrants, particularly those not in education, employment, or training (NEETs), with essential skills in the circular economy and entrepreneurship.

A Collaborative Effort for Youth Empowerment

In December 2024, our team held a productive meeting with project partners in Roscommon, laying the groundwork for an innovative program that will:

  • Provide hands-on training in sustainable business practices and circular economy principles

  • Foster entrepreneurial mindsets among participants

  • Create pathways to employment in green industries

  • Support social inclusion and economic participation for young migrants

The discussions have been energizing, with partners sharing expertise on how best to engage and upskill participants while addressing local sustainability challenges.

Why This Matters

With growing global emphasis on sustainability, the circular economy presents significant opportunities for job creation and innovation. However, many young people—especially those from migrant backgrounds—face barriers to accessing these opportunities. CirculYOUNG bridges this gap by offering:

  • Practical, skills-based learning

  • Mentorship from industry experts

  • Networking opportunities with green businesses

  • Support in developing entrepreneurial ventures
